About

I am an existential therapist in private practice and provide clinical supervision for students and qualified psychotherapists. I come with a strong philosophical background, which ranges from the work of Kant, Hegel and the 19th Century proto-existentialists, to Heidegger, Merleau-Ponty and Levinas, all of whom bear significantly on my approach to an understanding of existence and existential therapy. I held a Visiting Professor position at Union University, Serbia, from 2016 to 2019. My research interests and background experience draw on the work of Max van Manen, and on the much-neglected approaches both by Heidegger, known as 'formal indication', and Merleau-Ponty, known as 'radical reflection'.
