ABOUT

I am a fully qualified psychotherapist/counsellor, registered with UKCP.

My professionally accredited four-year training was with the NSPC (Schiller International University, London) where I obtained an MA in Existential Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2003.

Additionally, I completed a two year advanced programme at Regent's College, London, and was awarded an Advanced Diploma in Existential Psychotherapy and Counselling (ADEPT).

I have over 18 years experience working in a variety of settings within the public sector, including the NHS, Westminster Bereavement Service, the London Lighthouse, King's College Hospital, and in private practice.

I was employed by a London NHS General Practice for 10 years, where I worked therapeutically with clients who grappled with a wide range of personal problems.

I have a private practice, and undertake long and short term work with individuals. I have also given therapeutic support to many trainee therapists and counsellors over the years.

Areas of psychotherapy and counselling that are of particular interest to me: Life transitions, Anxiety, Loss, Relationship difficulties, Low self-esteem, Self-growth, Spirituality, Searching for meaning in life;
