About
I have been working for 20 years as an integrative psychotherapist mostly in private practice and I have worked both long term and in a time limited way with clients. I have been offering clinical supervision for 10;years and I work for a number of organisations both supervising students and qualified counsellors. I have taught counselling and psychotherapy for 13 years up to undergraduate level. I gained my PhD from Essex University Centre for Psychoanalyic Studies. I used IPA to explore how psychoanalytic practitioners understand the decision whether to parent. I have been providing academic supervision for 2 years at another psychotherapy organisation. to Masters level. My research expertise is IPA and I am currently supervising 11 students.
