NSPC Mission Statement

NSPC aims for excellence in education and training in psychotherapy, counselling psychology, coaching and other disciplines where an existential approach is relevant.   An existential approach is a philosophical method that addresses the universal elements of human existence as well as people’s personal predicaments.  It aims to enable individuals to explore how they navigate and respond to their core existential concerns. NSPC values intellectual openness and encourages reflective engagement with diverse worldviews, fostering an environment of respectful inquiry and ethical practice. We are committed to providing a critical appraisal of the most up to date information in the field. We expect our students to work and practice from a solid knowledge base.

NSPC aims to achieve high standards of teaching and research for all its staff members and to work closely with its academic partner.   NSPC teaching, research, and practical learning are informed by the core values of equality, diversity and inclusivity in all our education and training, as we seek to address human difficulties through informed dialogue rather than conflict.
